Northern Star, founded in 2012, is mainly a lolita blog, and focuses on my lolita life, the lolita lifestyle, new trends, old trends, life as a lolita, events and basically everything and anything that is lolita related, magical, possibly historical, and curious. The posts may be more or less related to my own life, or be more relevant to the community as a whole. My goal is to make it a blog that is anything and everything that inspires me in my life as a lolita, and also a blog that expresses my own views. I will update when inspiration strikes me.

My name is Julie, I am from Denmark and I was born in 1993. I have been into Lolita since the year 2010, and grew into the fashion through trial and error and the religious reading of Lolita blogs. I have an interest in historical lifestyles and fashions, lolita fashion, most things magical, curious and a little geeky. I enjoy reading, both online and offline, drawing, sewing, movie-watching, LARP'ing and meeting up with other people who share my interests. I enjoy going out into the real world once in a while, travelling and seeing new places.
